People at the desk were very friendly and helped us. The location is great and was very easy to get to the train station. And the kitchen had everything we needed

good place to stay but the sofa beds nees to go!!!

easy checkin and nice reception staff. quiet location and good block out blinds for darkness. good kitchen and bathroom. 1 bed apartment was nice.

sofa bed for a sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on. i would have thought a proper sofa would be better as after a few nights it was not comfortable for relaxing after walking around. cleaners didn’t arrive on my cleaning day until nearly 5pm which is too late as I was back from being out. i asked them to return the next day when I was out but they didn’t, so I had to ask reception twice and the cleaning was two days late. bigger bowls for pasta please!

Home for a week

Awesome location, 5 minutes away from train station. Lovely clean room and bathroom, nice size kitchen. Comfortable bed. Good amenities - laundry (5.5 euro each for wash and dry).

Everything was great, the only bad thing was the pillows were very high and a little bit hard. All in all great apartment.

Staff is friendly and willing to help you! Manager of the facility Daniela is very Kind person and cooperative.

If you planned to stay for longer rooms should be cleaned twice a week and must replenish , coffee refreshments.

The reception staff were totally amazing. I am so impressed with their level of service. Other staff are also very friendly and helpful.

The self-catering kitchen is not well equipped. 1. There is no baking tray to cook things on when you put them in the oven. 2. There is no salt. It's such a small cost and easy detail. I am confused as to why this is not available. 3. No big bowl to make pasta or salad in. 4. A microwave would also be nice. The beds are so small. It's difficult to sleep because I feel like I'm going to fall off the bed. In my country even single beds are much wider.

In general, this is a comfortable hotel and I would like to recommend to anyone you may visit AMS.

Receptionist Heros is very helpful and nice. Specially thanks to him. If I come back to AMS in the future, I would like to stay here again.

I stayed there for 9 nights and got one time cleaning only. It is not enough. I think better to increase to 2-3 times in 9 nights for cleaning.

Brilliant location, very clean and spacious room with the bonus of a kitchen.

The hotel is in easy reach of Amsterdam. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the best ways to travel to Amsterdam and the best attractions. Although we weren't aloud access to our rooms early we were able to leave our bags in a secure room. The room was very well equipped and we cooked most evening. However it was part of a larger hotel that had a restaurant and a bar.

When we arrived there was no body on reception and its wasn't clear how to check in. It later became apparent that the hotel was part of a neighbouring larger hotel where it was possible to check in. The room was booked for 3 and there were plenty of crockery for 3 people but there were only 2 chairs.

Staff were very good. Nice facilities. Near public transport and easily reachable to downtown in 10 min. Parking in the hotel was a plus. Will come back again

A minimalist place to stay in comfort, rooms a little small but very good overall package.

View, bed, 8th floor bar (amazing views and the bar is open to midnight), all of the staff (and particularly Sylvia and Ahmet who are both assets to your business), location (train, metro, bus and train station connection a 1 minute walk from the hotel). I even went inter-city to Arnhem direct from Sloterdijk. You can get anywhere in Amsterdam from Citadines quickly. Smallish supermarket next to the station. Mercure sister hotel is joined and facilities available.

Restaurant - expensive and so-so menu. TV - poor channel selection for this day and age. Green bins are not exclusive, need to look again at the garbage area.

Top Spot

The apartment was lovely and very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The only very slight negative was the sofa bed wasn’t overly comfortable to sit on with little to almost no back support. The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. The location is good - across the road from the station where you can get train, metro or tram into central Amsterdam. Really easy to get around.

I found it odd that you were expected to take the rubbish out at the end of your stay. I understand it during your stay but at the end the room has to be cleaned so why wouldn’t they do the rubbish. Kitchen needs a toaster.

Everything in this apartment was excellent, very clean and comfy interior. Location is very good for transportation needs, and from this place you can basicly go everywhere in Netherlands. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

There was everything you could need except a deep plate for soup. That would have been an important addition To the kitchenware
